My name is Glen Derosett and I have been a realtor since 2001.  I have obtained the following designations along the way;  GRI, Graduate of Real Estate Institution.  This was earned after an additional 96 hours of classroom instruction on everything from contract to closings.  The ePro designation gave me an indepth insight into using the internet for advertising listings and finding buyers for those listings.  The latest one I have earned is called SFR, which is Short Sale Foreclosure Resource.  This has taught me the proper steps to assist homeowners who are facing foreclosure.

I like to believe in what I would call; Realistic Real Estate.  Nothing fancy, just basic practice of Real Estate Principals.  Such as doing a Comparable Market Analysis, CMA, to determine the current market value of a home.  Using a mixture of internet advertising along with newspaper ads and signs.  Holding open houses and meeting neighbors to discuss if they know anyone that may be interested in purchasing the home I have just listed.

I started OCB Homes because I felt like the bigger franchises were charging more and more fees to customers.  I do not charge the Additional Broker Charge (ABC fee), which is usually about $150 more added to each transaction.  I think that businesses should be able to compete based on their commissions. 

I am looking forward to doing business in the Central Kentucky area and working with families to help them discover their perfect home and along the way earn their friendship.
